The biggest milestone in the Acts of the Apostles was the conversion of Saul of Tarsus (Saint Paul) to Christianity on the road to Damascus - Acts 9:1-18. At this point, the book of Acts centres around Paul's evangelizing missions to the gentiles & his influence amongst the other Apostles at accepting the uncircised into the church. Paul is accredited for making the church Catholic (from a Greek word for universal, meaning of all nations)
