Items on a baby registry?

I would take it easy on diapers, bottles and paci's. Some babies are allergic to the material of the diapers and can only use certain kinds, babies are picky when it comes to bottles and paci's. My daughter only takes Playtex Drop-in Bottles and has never taken a paci. I have different kinds and no luck...she hates them so its better to wait and see what the baby likes. I also found burp clothes a waste. I just throw a towel or receiving blanket over my shoulder. Gives more coverage. Babies can also be allergic to shampoos and creams and stuff so rather then register for it and get a ton I would save that to buy yourself. It lasts a long time anyways. I have hardly made a dent in my daughters shampoo and bum cream in 3.5 months. Diaper pails are only really good if you live in an apartment and cant get out to the dumpster often. Otherwise just use a trash can you empty each day or throw the diapers in a bin just outside. You only really need 1 diaper bag...we picked a neutral one and its packed and ready to go so we dont have to worry about one bag missing something. Dont forget some warm cuddly blankets for cuddles or my daughter likes to be wrapped in one after a bath. Teething ring maybe, baby carrier or a wrap or sling would be good.
