Lost key?!?

I have a 2002 Yamaha Zuma and somehow lost the key and so the dealership to me to look in the manual which has the # to reprint a new one but that's in the trunk of the scooter...so i can't get to it!!! What is the best thing to do?(cuz i'm dying to ride) get someone to break into the trunk? or get a locksmith to remake the key? please help!!! thanks so much?
